Strengths
1. I am confident in my ability to use technology in order to communicate effectively.
2. I know how to use word processors as well as presentation tools.
3. I am proficient in technology etiquette and presenting myself professionally online.
Areas of Improvement
1. How to better locate assistive technological tools for lessons in class
2. How to use digital tools to help students problem solve
3. How to use technology for formative and summative assessments
Goals
1. By the end of the semester I will have at least 5 resources on my symbaloo that direct me on how to better incorporate new technological tools into my lessons.
2. By the end of the semester I will have created at least 2 assessments using an online tool in order to improve my skills of using technology for the purpose of assessments.
3. By the end of the semester I will have acquired a basic knowledge for how to use research and resource tools online so that I can use them in my classroom to assist my students in problem solving.
December:
I believe that through the course of the semester I have absolutely met my goals. I have been exposed to so many differnt technological resources that I am confident in my ability to integrate technology into my future classroom that will benefit both the students and myself. In the future, I plan on keeping up to date and spending a little time each week doing some research and making sure I do not fall behind in technology in education.
